Romirasco sits above Cicala and Colonnello on the Bussia slope, on calcareous marl, and is the parcel that forms the backbone of the estate's Granbussia Riserva in the years that wine is made. It is planted to the Michet and Lampia subvarieties of Nebbiolo. Winemaking is deliberately traditional, with a long fermentation on skins and maturation in large Slavonian oak casks rather than barriques, followed by an extended rest in bottle.
