Huw Kinch puts the extra aromatic reach down to exactly that. Cellar work is deliberately identical to its sibling block, so any difference you taste is soil and aspect alone. Fruit was picked and sorted by hand, destemmed, then fermented by infusion instead of extraction, held three to four weeks on skins, matured eighteen months in French oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
