The fruit came in clean on 23 March, mostly destemmed to small vats with a portion fermented in barrel, pressed after 21 days and matured fourteen months in hogsheads, a quarter of them new, before bottling unfined and unfiltered in June 2024. The 1994 plantings are mainly MV6 with a little 114 and 115, rooted in alluvial clay and the red soils that wash down from Red Hill above the village.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is serious flavour here, with juicy red fruits, dark spice and a savoury undertow, plus structure that suggests patience will pay. Serve at 16 to 17 degrees.
