Every ferment was spontaneous, with an average of 25 days on skins, and the batches spent twelve months in older barrels before being assembled and bottled. 2023 was the third consecutive short season, with crops down more than half in places, but the ripening run could hardly have gone better: a warm, drawn-out autumn brought slow, even maturity. Parcels are chosen for ripeness and soft tannin, which makes this the most approachable red the estate makes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLight, bright and lifted, with crunchy red fruits, spice and a sweet-savoury tang that keeps you going back. Serve it at 15 degrees, even lightly chilled.
