Moscato Giallo went in there in 2014, and the vines carry large, loose bunches of deep-yellow berries with thick, hardy skins, which is a useful trait in a maritime climate. Like most of the Moscato family, it brings perfume and sunny flavour. Picking came at the end of March at nine Baume to keep the aromatics lifted and the acid intact, then a very gentle press at just 500 litres per tonne to steel.
