From there it went into seasoned hogsheads and stayed until late winter 2025, an unusually long raising for an aromatic white, and was bottled without filtration. The vines date to 2014 and their fruit normally goes into the estate's field blend and sparkling wine; a small parcel is now drawn off each year for this bottling. The grapes are hardy and thick-skinned, picked in early April and hand-sorted before anything else happens.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOrange blossom, lavender, Turkish delight and dried flowers, with pulpy mouthcoating texture, a salty lick and a long tangy close. Serve at 13 degrees.
