After sixteen days on skins the wine was pressed gently to old barriques and stayed there fourteen months on full lees. The intense, low-yielding conditions of the season gave a clear look at what this block can do, and it is a site still moving towards its peak. The vines are pruned to a single arched cane to open the canopy, and they are farmed organically with certification to come.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFiligree is the word for it: pure red fruit, rose petal and fine spice over light, silky tannin. Serve at 14 degrees.
