The 2022 is thirty-five per cent Marsanne, thirty-five Roussanne and thirty Viognier, drawn mostly from twenty-five-year-old vines on the granite soils of the Murrumbateman estate at 650 metres. Fruit was picked in passes from 20 March through to 19 April and pressed to seasoned 600-litre demi-muids to ferment and mature. After ten months the wine was stirred and moved to a twenty-hectolitre seasoned Stockinger foudre for another year, then bottled unfined and unfiltered in February 2024.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYellow peach, dried pear, beeswax and ginger, broad through the middle but held in balance by a dry, mineral finish. Serve at 12 degrees in a large glass.
