Bryan Martin fermented whole berries, plunging by hand each day and leaving the wine to macerate on skins for three weeks before pressing to old barriques, where it rested fifteen months. Bottling followed with no fining or filtration. Frost threatened during the 2024 season and the crops came in small and early, but conditions ended up suiting this wandering variety well, and it is only made when the year allows, which is not often.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA rare version of this grape that is not big and brawny: bright bramble fruit, black pepper and dried herb over medium weight and fresh acidity. Serve at 16 degrees.
