Recaredo farms its vineyards biodynamically from its base at Sant Sadurní d'Anoia. Serral del Roure runs from 210 to 285 metres, and its loamy soils hold a fairly even balance of sand, silt and clay, with slightly more clay than neighbouring Serral del Vell; the result is a rounder, more mouthfilling wine. A portion of the base wine is fermented in Stockinger oak, which adds savoury depth, while the remainder is raised in tank. The wine then spends 36 months in bottle on its lees, is disgorged by hand and receives no dosage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApproachable now and good for several years in the cellar.
