Recaredo farms biodynamically. Terrers is blended from 57 per cent Xarel·lo, 25 per cent Macabeu, 17 per cent Parellada and one per cent Monastrell, all from the estate's own vines rooted in the calcareous soils of the Alt Penedès. In any given year the blend can draw on up to 65 parcels across Serral del Roure, Serral del Vell, Pedra Blanca, Marçaneta and the high Montpedrós vineyard at 455 metres. The base wines are raised in tank rather than oak, which keeps the fruit bright and the texture fluid, and the wine is then aged 39 months on lees and disgorged without dosage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking well on release and worth holding a few years.
