The fruit is grown on the sandy and stony soils around Orange and Roquemaure, ground that is warm and free draining and suited to the early ripening of Grenache. Grenache leads the blend with Syrah adding colour and pepper, and the wine is fermented and aged entirely in tank so that the fruit remains fresh and unoaked.
