The Costamagna family first received permission to sell wine from their La Morra vineyards in 1841, and their descendants still farm the site and make the wine in the village. Nebbiolo is fermented with extended skin contact and then aged in big, neutral oak casks in the classic Piedmontese way, with further time in bottle before release.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHalf bottles suit a dinner for two and tend to come around a little sooner than full-size bottles.
