Rainfall is scarce, the ground is poor, and the vines have never had herbicide or chemical fertiliser. Eben Sadie has long argued that a place this warm should not be able to give wine this fresh, and the 2024 makes the case in a leaner, more upright way than usual. He expects it to fill out in bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLemon zest, green pear and crushed stone, still tightly wound, with real length. A year or two will soften the edges.
