The Huon is the southernmost winegrowing district in Australia, cool and maritime, and the season runs long and slow, which holds acidity and keeps alcohol moderate. Syrah is a rare sight this far south. Everything is made in small batches with wild ferments and matured in French oak, with as little intervention as the vintage allows.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eExpect a peppery, medium-weight red with more lift than bulk.
