The Omaka Valley is one of Marlborough's Southern Valleys, where clay-based soils and sheltered sites suit fuller-bodied Chardonnay. Time in oak builds savoury complexity, and the 2024 brings spice, toasted cedar and a hint of vanilla to ripe peach and preserved lemon, with a generous, luxurious texture and a toasty finish. It is drinking well now and should keep developing for five to ten years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe lightly chilled, around 10 to 12 degrees, so the texture comes through.
