Riesling here sits on the steep, stony terraces where thin soils and warm days meet cold air drawn down from the Waldviertel at night, a swing that holds acidity while the fruit ripens slowly. This cuvee departs from the estate's usual stainless steel and large cask regime: the wine is fermented and raised in clay amphora with extended contact with its own solids and no new oak influence, which builds texture and a faintly saline grip rather than overt fruit.
