Simon Tolley Perfectus Chardonnay 2019

Where particular seasons provide excellent growing conditions, special fruit characters and outstanding wine expressions, Simon puts aside this wine into his premium range of wines called “Perfectus”.

Slightly smoky, stony scents. Somewhat toasty and nutty over layers of under-ripe peaches and grape fruit on the nose. Pleasantly textured and firmly medium-bodied. Elegant. Using quality French oak (20% new), layers of texture persist with white flesh, peach flavour and a hint of citrus acidity.
