The late-picked grapes are partly fermented, fortified with neutral spirit and left for many years in old oak, where slow evaporation concentrates them. The final blend leans on old reserve stocks, and the family behind it has been in Rutherglen since the nineteenth century.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDark, dense and layered, with a long raisined finish.
