What is missing matters just as much: no artificial flavouring and no added sugar, which is close to unheard of in the spiced rum aisle. The Edinburgh team behind it made their name with Escubac and now work from their own premises in the city.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDry and savoury, with woodsmoke, dried fig, citrus leaf and warm spice, and none of the vanilla syrup sweetness the category usually trades on.
