Those plantings are now the basis of the wine. Frankland River is an inland, continental part of the Great Southern, with warm days, cold nights and a long season.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGrenache from cooler inland sites tends to be perfumed and red-fruited, with raspberry and dried herb, light tannin and a dusty, savoury finish.
