Tenute del Cerro makes its Brunello at La Poderina, its estate near Castelnuovo dell'Abate in the warmer south east of the appellation, close to the abbey of Sant'Antimo. By law Brunello cannot be released until the fifth year after the harvest, with at least two of those years spent in oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA structured red for bistecca alla fiorentina, wild boar, roast lamb and aged pecorino.
