Tenute del Cerro makes its Brunello at La Poderina, its estate near Castelnuovo dell'Abate in the warmer south east of the appellation, close to the abbey of Sant'Antimo. A Riserva must be aged for a further year, and cannot be released until the sixth year after the harvest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA powerful, long-lived red for bistecca alla fiorentina, game, braised meats and aged pecorino.
