Alex Dale's Stellenbosch winery set out to capture the best of both parents, the cherry fruit of Pinot and the spice of Cinsault, while avoiding the grape's rougher side. Careful handling of the grapes and ferment gives a refreshing, juicy wine with blackberry, plum and wild black fruits and a natural sweetness of fruit. It has a lithe texture, integrated, supple tannins and attractive spice on the finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePour it a touch cool, at 15 to 16 degrees.
