The farming is organic and largely manual, with ploughing in place of herbicide and low yields taken as a matter of course. Rosé de Loire is a dry appellation covering rosés from across Anjou, Touraine and Saumur, and by regulation the blend must be led by the Cabernets, with Grolleau, Gamay, Pineau d'Aunis and Côt permitted alongside.
