Each was cold-soaked for a day or two, fermented in stainless steel tanks, then matured fifteen months in 300-litre hogsheads. Alcohol sits at 13.6 per cent. The Hunter has never needed weight to make serious Shiraz, and this bottling is a good demonstration: concentration and detail at medium body, with tannin that supports without gripping.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBlue fruit, lifted spice and a supple tannin frame, concentrated but approachable straight away. Serve at 16 degrees.
