Semillon makes up 68 per cent, off an early-picked block at Braemore in the Hunter; the Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Adelaide Hills, pressed at Kaesler and trucked cold across to the Hunter. The two were blended as soon as they could be and left on lees to build a little texture, then bottled early to hold the freshness. Andrew Thomas grew up in McLaren Vale, so the interstate habit is not out of character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCitrus up front with tropical fruit behind, bouncy and fleshy in the mouth, finishing clean and dry. Serve at 8 degrees.
