The Semillon is early-picked Braemore fruit from the Hunter; the Sauvignon Blanc comes up from the Adelaide Hills, pressed at Kaesler and transported cold so it arrived in good shape. Blending happened almost immediately, a short spell on lees added texture, and bottling followed quickly to keep the wine as bright as possible. The multi-regional blend is an old Australian idea that fell out of fashion, and Andrew Thomas has been making a persuasive case for its return.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBell-clear citrus and light tropical fruit, lively texture, then a thirst-quenching close. Serve it at 8 degrees on a hot day.
