The Sauvignon was pressed at Kaesler and carried cold to the Hunter, where the components were blended without delay and given a short rest on lees for texture. Early bottling preserves the aromatics. The idea comes from the great interstate blends of the mid twentieth century, and Andrew Thomas treats it as a serious wine, not a curiosity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eClean citrus with light tropical fruit, fleshy in the middle, refreshing all the way out. Chill to 8 degrees.
