The rest is Dominican, column-distilled in the Spanish style, which is rounder and fills the mouth more, sitting underneath the Jamaican character without fighting it. Both components are molasses-based and the blend was aged tropically for three years before bottling. Tropical ageing works faster and takes more out of the barrel than the same span of time in a European warehouse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOak leads, then musk lollies, crème brûlée and cake spice over delicate tropical fruit, the palate full and buttery with a macadamia finish. Sip it neat at room temperature, or over one large ice cube.
