Redigaffi, first made in the mid 1990s, is bottled from Merlot alone and is produced in very small quantity from a single parcel on gravel and clay soils not far from the sea. Its early releases attracted extraordinary attention and turned a young family estate into one of the most sought after names in Italy almost overnight. The wine is matured in new French oak barriques.
