Fruit comes from seventeen plots spread across Villalba, Rodezno, Briones and Ollauri, all farmed under organic guidelines and cropped well below the regional limits; the youngest vines that make the grade are sixty years old. The house style favours restraint, with fermentation in cement, moderate use of low-toast French oak and long settling in concrete before release, so the wine arrives with bottle age already behind it.
