Vincent Dureuil-Janthial farms around eighteen hectares here and is widely held to set the standard. This wine blends several village parcels, hand picked at low yields, whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in barrel. It then spends about a year on lees in mostly used wood, with malolactic conversion allowed to complete. The result is a white with the domaine's characteristic tension, citrus drive and chalky finish, and rather more substance than village Rully usually offers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReady from release and it will improve over a few years.
