Its stony, free-draining soils and cool mountain breezes give Cabernet Sauvignon of structure and freshness. The wine rose to international fame at the 2004 Berlin Tasting, where the 2000 vintage placed first in a blind line-up that included leading Bordeaux estates. It is made by the same family behind Errázuriz and Seña. 2020 was a warm, dry year, and the wine is deep ruby with red fruit, cacao, nutmeg and balsamic notes, cassis, dark chocolate and fine-grained, chalky tannins.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDecanting for an hour helps it unfold.
