His son Angelo lifted production in 1936 and built a cellar at Nardò, and in the 1960s Ernesto bought the first bottling line, which is when the family label started reaching drinkers beyond the region. Four brothers now share the work: Paolo, Marco, Luca and Matteo, Ernesto's sons.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRipe dark fruit with a gentle lick of spice, smooth through the middle and warming at the close.
