Dacite is a rock particular to the Forez: highly friable, it breaks down into infertile, grainy soils with less clay than is usual in the area, which restricts vigour and keeps yields naturally low. This cuvée comes from two parcels at Champdieu planted between 2007 and 2015. To give the young vines more depth, the domaine cropped them at 30 hectolitres per hectare.
