Small crops, wild yeasts and a preference for clear fruit over heavy extraction run through both. The grapes are the same Sangiovese Grosso that goes into the senior wine, taken from younger plantings and parcels meant to be drunk sooner, with less ageing demanded before release; fermentation happens on skins in temperature-controlled tanks, followed by roughly a year in big casks and used barriques. Vineyard work here is sustainable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJuicy and open, with sour cherry and a herbal edge finishing dry.
