Late Bottled Vintage was conceived as a way of offering vintage character without the decades of waiting, and Warre's was the first shipper to bottle one. The word traditional matters here: the wine spends around four to six years in cask, is bottled without filtration or fining, and is then given further age in bottle before release, so it throws a deposit and behaves much as a vintage port does.
