Colette Faller, who died in early 2015, was largely responsible for the estate's modern reputation, and like her daughter Laurence and her husband Théo she is remembered with a wine that carries her name. The fruit comes from 50- to 60-year-old vines in the Bonnes Terres terroir, further down the Schlossberg hillside where the soils are deeper and sandier than the granite above. Picking here tends to come a little later, which gives a fuller register of flavour, running from white flowers to mirabelle and citrus zest.
