The vineyard is a field blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and other local grapes, all picked and fermented together. Grapes are foot-trodden in stone lagares, and neutral spirit stops the ferment with plenty of sugar left. After a couple of years in cask it's bottled unfiltered to age in glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDense, sweet and firmly tannic, it will go for decades but can be enjoyed young with a long decant.
