Wirra Wirra was established in the district in the 1890s, and today its winemakers aim for Grenache with freshness and energy. The 2025 release opens with star anise, red fruits, cured prosciutto and a waxy note, before cranberry, pomegranate and blood orange on the palate. A creamy, summer-pudding richness sits in the middle, while dried Mediterranean herbs and fine, chalky tannins carry it through a long finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTry it with a slight chill, around 15 degrees.
