The region's Mediterranean climate, with warm days and breezes from Gulf St Vincent, delivers ripe, concentrated fruit that stands up well to oak maturation. In 2023 the wine shows fleshy plum, blackberry, woody spice and charcuterie, with red plum, milk chocolate, coffee and vanilla bean on the palate and powdery tannins through a long, savoury finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOpen it at around 17 to 18 degrees after an hour in a decanter, or tuck it away to develop over the next ten years or more.
