The region is widely regarded as one of Australia's best for the variety, with old vines and sandy, free-draining soils producing perfume and fine tannin. The 2023 shows ripe raspberry, dried herbs, red plum, bay leaf and orange rind on the nose, with raspberry coulis and blood orange on a piquant palate. Chalky, graphite notes and sandy tannins give it plenty of drive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe at around 15 to 17 degrees.
