Wirra Wirra, founded in 1894 and revived by Greg Trott in 1969, has made Grenache a central part of its identity. The 2024 is floral and perfumed, with black cherry, cherry blossom and lavender alongside dried oregano, earthy notes and a touch of baking spice. Red plum and raspberry fill the palate, with fine-grained, svelte tannins and a mouth-coating texture that carry to an elegant finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe at around 16 degrees. Try it with Peking duck, lamb loin, mushroom and thyme pie or a charcuterie board.
