The 2022 edition carries a little more peat than earlier versions, with the smoke laid over the sweeter, gentler house character and adding depth. It is also the oldest festive bottling made to that point, a shade over seven years, which reflects a distillery running since 2013 that now has stock to choose from. Maturation was split between first-fill bourbon barrels and second-fill quarter casks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSweet malt and orchard fruit with a wreath of smoke and a warm, spiced finish. Drink it neat at room temperature.
