Grenache is one of the Barossa's heritage varieties, and bush vines, trained without trellis wires into a low goblet shape, cope well with the region's warm, dry summers and tend to give small, concentrated crops. This wine puts the fruit first, with cherry, raspberry and red forest berries over rose florals, then Mediterranean herbs, nettle and anise with time in the glass. It is medium-bodied and juicy, with underlying power and mouth-coating tannins.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe lightly cool, at 14 to 16 degrees.
