The producer calls 2019 a star vintage: a dry year that gave small, intense crops. Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz are blended and matured in oak, giving a deep, purple-red wine with florals, cool mint, pomegranate, fine blackberry and dark cherry. The palate is generous, with dark cherry fruit merging into ironstone tannins, medium to full in weight and long in the finish. Magnums develop more slowly than standard bottles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter decanting, pour at 17 to 18 degrees with a shared roast of beef or lamb.
