Recipe

Roquefort and Walnut Tart

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet shortcrust pastry
  • 200g Roquefort cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a tart pan with pastry and blind bake for 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt, and pepper. Stir in Roquefort and walnuts.
  3. Pour mixture into the tart shell and bake for 25-30 minutes until set and golden.
  4. Serve warm or at room temperature, garnished with fresh herbs.
