Description
Description
Feudi di San Gregorio Rosaura Beneventano Rosato is a decidedly dry, mountain-grown rosé with real precision and character - don’t let the deeper colour fool you. Produced by Feudi di San Gregorio in Campania, this wine is made from 100% Aglianico, a grape better known for powerful reds, here handled with a very gentle pressing to reveal a more refined, expressive side.
In the glass, it shows a vivid rose hue, hinting at its alpine origins. Aromas lean savoury and fresh rather than sweet - wild cherry, pomegranate and blood orange, with subtle herbal notes and a stony, mineral edge. The palate is crisp, dry and structured, with bright acidity, light tannic grip and a long, refreshing finish.
This is a serious rosé - not fruity or sugary, but shaped by altitude, cool air and careful winemaking. Ideal for those who prefer their rosé with backbone and purpose.
