Why we made it
The kind of wine that reminds you of holidays, long lunches and magical little moments
We started DiVino to make it easy (and exciting!) to drink truly great European wine at home. Not the bottles you find in the big chains. Real French and Italian wine, from small producers who make a few hundred cases rather than a few hundred thousand. So we built The Grand Tour: a journey through Europe, one region at a time, in a box.
4-24 bottles you won't find in a chain
Chosen one at a time from small family estates, most of them DOC or DOCG, and tasted by us before a single box ships. Nothing goes in that we wouldn't open ourselves on a Friday night.
A tasting note for every bottle
The grape, the producer, the region - and the line that matters most if you've never heard of Nerello Mascalese: grown on volcanic soil high on Etna, it drinks closer to a fine Pinot Noir than a southern red. Rate each wine as you go and tell us what you loved.
The dish that belongs with it
Not pairs well with red meat. The actual regional recipe, with ingredients and method: pasta alla Norma with a Nerello Mascalese, caponata alongside a Catarratto, grilled swordfish with Etna Bianco.
A map of the region's wineries
Every producer in your box pinned where they actually sit - Tornatore and Graci high on the slopes of Etna, Valdibella and Cantine Cellaro out in the west. The start of a very good itinerary.
What to eat, and where to go
Our own recommendations for the region - the towns worth a detour and what to order when you get there. This month: arancini and granita in Catania, the wine road around Etna, and baroque Noto and Modica in the south-east.

This October, The Grand Tour takes you to Sicily - an island of dramatic volcanic landscapes, ancient vineyards, sun-drenched coastlines and some of Italy's most exciting wines. From the slopes of Mount Etna to the rolling hills of the south, Sicily is experiencing a remarkable wine renaissance, with its indigenous grape varieties capturing the attention of wine lovers around the world.
From crisp Catarratto and Grillo to elegant Etna rosé and expressive reds such as Nero d'Avola and Nerello Mascalese, every bottle reveals a different side of this extraordinary island. Discover the freshness and minerality of Mount Etna's volcanic vineyards alongside the rich, generous wines of Sicily's warmer southern regions.
Together, they capture the true spirit of Sicily - vibrant, generous and made for the table. Think fresh seafood by the coast, arancini, pasta alla Norma, grilled swordfish, caponata and long lunches overlooking the Mediterranean, with a glass of exceptional Sicilian wine in hand.
Verdeca and Chardonnay from the heel of Italy alongside Nero di Troia, Susumaniello, Negroamaro and Primitivo - with orecchiette and cime di rapa on the recipe cards.
Southern French rosé, then Syrah and Grenache down the Rhône. Knowing where the Tour heads next is half the reason people subscribe rather than buy one box.

I have used many wine clubs in the past such as Qantas, Naked Wines etc but it could never really give us a better experience than Dan Murphy's or Uber delivery. The questions we actually get asked
Can I cancel? What if I want to skip a month?
Yes, and yes. Cancel from your account in one click - no email, no phone call, no minimum number of boxes. You can also skip a single month, pause, change your style or size, or shift your delivery date.
When am I charged and when does it arrive?
Your first box is dispatched within a week of joining, so you're not waiting on a billing date to try us. After that, The Grand Tour is charged on the 1st of the month and delivered at the start of each month.
Can I see exactly which wines I'll get?
Yes - pick your style and size at the top of the page and the list above updates to the exact bottles in that box. We publish the full line-up for the current month before you buy.
What if I don't like one of the wines?
We replace it. Tell us within 30 days and a replacement bottle goes into your next box at no charge. We'd rather know what you didn't like - it changes what we send you next.
What does delivery cost?
Standard delivery starts from $9 and takes around 5-7 days, a little longer for regional areas. It's free on orders over $500.
We won't leave your box on the doorstep - we'd rather nothing happened to it - so someone over 18 needs to be there to sign for it.
How does DiVino Status work?
Grand Tour members start at Cru immediately. After that it's based on annual spend, accumulating across the calendar year and resetting on 1 January. Reach a level and you keep it for the whole of the following year. You also earn 1 DiVino Point per $1 spent.
Can I send this as a gift?
Of course - a lot of people do. You can gift a single box, or the ongoing membership so someone gets a new region every month.
